Liquid is built on a secure network infrastructure with all customer data encrypted both in transit and at rest. We use state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms during data transmission (HTTPS) and in our databases (AES 256 encryption keys).
For compliance and data protection, we trust Microsoft Azure as our cloud provider which meets or exceeds a broad set of international, industry, and regional standards.

Credit Card Data
Liquid does not store any sensitive credit card information on our servers.
The PCI-DSS certification process is designed to protect your sensitive data. and when credit card information is added, the cardholder information is never transmitted through our servers.
We work with top-level card processor Chase PaymentTech, a certified Level 1 PCI Compliant Service Provider to process credit card transactions. To maintain Level 1 PCI Compliance, Chase PaymentTech is required to undergo an annual independent security audit of its processes and systems.

Protecting Your Money
Regardless of whether you are using Liquid to pay vendors or if you are getting paid via Liquid, your money is held in protected account by our partner bank J.P. Morgan Chase until it is electronically delivered to the receiving account.
